Our vision on product

We are committed to offering compliant and sustainable products to our customers and end-users. Our objective is to reduce the use of virgin plastics and increase the use of (certified) recycled and organic materials both in product and packaging. We see sustainable branding as a key element in our product offering.

Materials

WHAT: Transition to recycled or renewable materials in our products and maximize material efficiency, product longevity, and recovery HOW: our sustainable ranking tool helps to identify sustainable opportunities for our products. Actively transition to recycled plastics in our (manufactured) products. Focus on product certifications like GOTS/GRS/FSC® to give assurance. Invest in (certified) sustainable branding techniques. Partnerships with Prevented Ocean Plastics (recycled plastic) and Nature Office (CO2 footprint) 2025 GOAL: 100% of new products to contain sustainable materials.


Packaging

WHAT: Transition to recycled or renewable materials in our packaging and reducing packaging material. Less storage and handling, less fuel and reduced emissions, and minimized waste. HOW: actively change the packaging for all new items launched from 2021 into sustainable materials, reduce virgin plastics where possible in packaging. Develop a packaging protocol for packaging sourced in our own facilities. Measure CO2 impact packaging and set KPI’s for reduction (starting 2021) 2025 GOAL: 50% reduction of virgin plastics in packaging.


Circular Design

WHAT: Transition to circular designed products with a focus on longevity, circularity and minimal waste. HOW: actively develop circular projects (Apparel & Americano®) in cooperation with customers and end-users. Develop take-back systems and rebranding options. 2025 GOAL: offer multiple circular product options in key categories.
