Currently we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a background in Financial Control who will be leading our team of Financial Controllers & GL Accountants team. A new position to strengthen our Central European Finance team.

An interesting phase to join, because our Finance & Control activities are in a transition from a decentralized to a centralized department for our European activities. Currently we are in the last phase of the centralization of our financial administration at PF Concept International’s headquarter in the Netherlands.

The next few years will mainly focus on further professionalizing of Finance & Control to the next level. This through projects such as payroll centralization, in which Finance is of course involved. Implementing new and improving existing tooling and interfaces, processes and, not unimportantly, a more visible role for F&C within PF Concept.

That is why we are looking for a strong and empathic manager who will not only manage the core day-to-day business and challenges of the department, but you are also a person who has affinity and experience with information technology aspects and/ or has led projects. You will manage and will be working along with a team of 4 Financial Controllers and 4 GL Accountants and you report to the Group Controller EU.

What are you going to do?

Your main core activities are to manage the financial accounting and reporting for the PF Concept International Group (including all underlying reporting units), including:

• Comparison of consolidated operating vs budgeted and/or forecast results, and providing explanations for the key drivers for any meaningful variances;

• Manage the monthly close process, the annual budget and re-forecasting process;

• Manage the preparation of supporting materials for the group’s external auditors in a timely manner;

• Managing the central finance team responsible for financial controllers, general ledger accountants and (coming up) a sustainability reporting specialist;

• Ensure timely and accurate tax declaration submissions (for both direct and indirect taxation matters);

• Review and periodic refinement, as required, to the accounting procedures

• Responsibility for the internal control environment AO/IC

• Input and assistance to treasury and cash flow management

You will also participate in and/ or lead projects, drawing up reports on an ad hoc basis and risk management. Since we are Private Equity owned, cash focus is critical and as such you’ll be asked to participate on an ad-hoc basis in projects such as for example, refinancing or a potential exit process.

Who are you?

You have 7+ years relevant work experience as Senior Financial Controller or Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience as a cooperating manager. You are simply qualified for the job by relevant Higher professional level of education (HBO+), training and, most important, your broad knowledge.

Of course you are a team player, supportive to your colleagues but also an independent, inspirational and stimulating leader. You have an analytical and critical eye for overview and detail and you are still eager to learn. Besides that you have:

• Good knowledge of and experience with various software packages (INFOR CSI & Excel) and affinity with business processes;

• Proactive, flexible and trustworthy multitasker who can prioritize to meet deadlines and get the job done;

• Our office team is becoming more and more international (almost 40% already) so fluent English and (preferably) Dutch, both spoken and written, is key;

• Ability to communicate on different levels in PF Concept and you have a good dose of humor;

• Willingness to travel 2-3 days per month within Europe.
