About the role!

You are ready for your second or third career step as HR specialist in a dynamic world of promotional gifts and business premiums? Do you want to be a part of a challenging HR & payroll project for the international set-up of a new Payroll & HCM system for several European countries as well as the NL? This is your chance!

Currently we are looking for a HR Specialist with 3 - 5 years of experience to join our Central Europe HR & Payroll team, located at PF Concept International’s headquarter in the Netherlands. PF Concept is growing and our team is moving to the same direction and ready for a next step in professionalization.

Therefore we are currently preparing an implementation of a completely new Payroll & HCM system (eHCM ADP) so we can pro-actively support, facilitate and coach our officeteam(s) in the Netherlands and our colleagues in for example Germany, France, Italy and Spain in all HR & Payroll subjects you can imagine. From giving first line support to strategic supporting the business.

You are a team player, supportive to your colleagues, a problem solver with critical thinking skills, good communication skills in both verbal and written form, and you have a keen eye for detail.

Do you like to do the following?

Together with your 4 colleagues of the HR & Payroll team, you will also act as primary contact for HR subjects, payroll, benefits inquiries and effectively communicate policies, processes and requirements to our growing international employee population in Europe. Besides that your general responsibilities are:

• Initiate and support recruitment processes with agencies;
• Issue job offers and employment contracts with support of PFC’s inhouse legal counsel;
• Carry out the administrative process regarding recruitment, onboarding, career development and terminations;
• Providing support in drafting and updating job descriptions;
• Process and payroll system entry of new hires, employee terminations, payroll changes, staff mutations and benefits enrollments etc.;
• Conducting an accurate absenteeism administration & absenteeism guidance;
• Providing support in counselling and reintegration processes;
• Supporting the roll-out of a learning & development system;
• Maintenance of staff planning and staff sheets;
• Prepare and align with the Finance team on payroll reporting;
• Maintain all necessary files and databases.

Recognize yourself?

You have 3 – 5 years relevant work experience in a HR and/ or Payroll department. You are simply qualified for the job by relevant education, training and, most important, your knowledge. Besides that you have of course:

• Good experience in the functional use of HR & Payroll systems and excellent computer skills, MS Office, including Excel;
• Experience in implementation of projects of HR & payroll systems is more than welcome;
• Proactive, flexible and trustworthy multitasker who can prioritize to meet deadlines;
• Ability to identify and mitigate (compliance) risks and well versed in local labour law;
• Our office team is becoming more and more international (almost 30% already) so fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is key;
• Ability to communicate on different levels in and outside PFC and you have a good dose of humor.
