As IT Application Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery and maintenance of innovative technology to our customers.

You will work with the Product Owner(s), the scrum team members and other business- and IT colleagues to gather requirements ad refine user stories. You work closely together with our offshore development team. You will report to the Team Lead. This position is part of a growing IT team that will ensure users have a positive experience and get maximum value from our applications.

You will be primarily involved in managing our PIM platform for product information and assets (as up-to-date and complete information is key to our customers), caring for continuous improvement of the process and product as well as delivering new features.

What are you going to do?

• Engage with the business stakeholders to negotiate requirements and understand their value.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore technical professionals to define solutions that deliver customer value.
• Fulfill business requirements by leveraging the system's configuration possibilities and translate requirements in specifications for the developers.
• Support the business organization with data extraction, bulk import of data, user acceptance testing, and 2nd line support.
• Some examples of activities:
• You will work on extending our Product Information System (Pimcore) with all required data to fulfil the growing need for sustainability information for our customers.
• As product data is the core of our systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless process of providing data to other systems and continuously seek improvements to ease the process for our users.
• Monitor and support the new / updated product, image data and other system processes.

Who are you?

• HBO-level (preferably IT-oriented) degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PIM systems and Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge on Windows / Unix operating systems / PHP and Symfony.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting is a pre, knowledge about SQL database administration will come in even more handy.
• Experience with complex data related processes.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and innovative mindset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; business proficiency in English.
• Media graphical knowledge is a plus.
