The world is changing and so are we!

To create a more sustainable product media industry, we aim to reduce the environmental footprint of our activities along the entire supply chain. With our long-term strategy "Rethinking Plastics 2030", we are committed to phasing out all virgin fossil-based plastics from our collection by 2030. To achieve this goal, we need to start rethinking plastics. Taking inspiration from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation*, we must change how we design, use and reuse plastics. There are 3 actions we must take: innovate, circulate and eliminate.

We want to innovate, by replacing virgin fossil-based plastics by bio-based plastics and by looking for new materials. We need to circulate, by using recycled materials, but also by reusing, repairing and rethinking our business models and takeback systems. We will eliminate, by removing virgin fossil-based plastic from product and packaging.

Leading by example

At all times we will guide you through this sustainable transition by leading by example and by inspiring you with better choices to offer your customers. We use third-party validation for our management systems, we have partnerships with global initiatives and are committed to the sustainable development goals (SDG 8, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 17) of the United Nations.

A great example of a partnership we initiated is our multi-year collaboration with UNICEF The Netherlands. With this partnership we support UNICEF’s Plastic Brick program that aims to offer fair remuneration for plastic collection and training in entrepreneurship, supporting young people and women in poorer communities. The program will also help to tackle the issue of children and young people not attending school, with the goal of recycling plastic into building blocks for classrooms and schools in collaboration with UNICEF’s local partners.
